Gelato Saturdays

We've started
a new tradition of sorts,
the husband and I.

Saturdays,
we go to our local gelato place
with a boardgame
and time to spare.

I highly recommend
making an excuse to indulge
in frozen delights
and good competitive company.

This week's flavors:

Butter Pecan & Gila Conglomerate
for me...

Lemon & Blueberry
for Tanner...

This week's game:
The game of the cold war...

I played as the stone cold
U.S.S.R.,

and Tan fought against me
as the valiant United States.

It was a tough match,
but the US won in the end.
Darn those Yankees.

It didn't matter though.

Because when you're eating gelato,
you're always a winner.
Always.

If you're in Silver City
and you're up for an
obscure boardgame
and the best gelato in town...

You know where to find us.
Saturdays.
Noon.

Be there.

:)

  2. Thanks for the plug, guys!

Seriously, we're delighted that you two are doing what we had hoped for when we decided to open Alotta Gelato; we meant it as a 'third place' where people could come, relax, meet with friends, etc. outside of their home (the 'first place') or where they work (the 'second place'). We're open seven days a week beginning at noon, until 9:00 PM (Sun-Thu) or 10:00 PM (Fri-Sat) for all your gelato needs. :)

    1. I love the 'third place' concept! And Alotta Gelato is the perfect location for people to gather away from home - I know from experience, hehe! Thank you!!!
