This last month has been an interesting one.
Some updates:
I have a job now!
Well, besides painting and managing
my Etsy store...

I am now the official Project Manager
We're already busy at work,my friends,
and I have yet to perfect my time management skills.
Let's hope that gets better! :P

Also, I am back to running again!
My ballet teacher had to suddenly move to Arizona,
so I have jumped back into jogging.

Honestly, it's refreshing.
And meditative.

I've been doing an easy 5K plan
(which I highly recommend for those of you
who need a bit of structure and easy build-up).
I start week five tomorrow!

Those are just a few updates for me.
Thanksgiving of course will be fabulous as well!
We're gearing up to spend it with family.
I shall try and take many a picture!

Stay warm, everyone!
And have a fantastic week!

  1. Came over from Suzy's blog, just wanted to say HI because I live in Santa Fe and Taos is lovely! Congrats on the new job :)

    1. Hi Caitlin! Thanks for stopping by and for the congratulations as well! I've never been to Santa Fe, but I plan on making the trek someday! :)

  2. I used to run too, sometimes I think about starting again, but it is so grey and cold outside that I didn't quite give it a go. I loved the feeling afterwards though, refreshed and tired at the same time :)

    1. Marielle - I know what you mean! The weather has a way of dictating my runs, but a good thermal top and running tights make any gray damp day conquerable! :D

  3. Congrats on your new job. Hope you're still enjoying the glow.
Nice to come across your creative blog. Looking forward to more....cheers.

    1. Indeed I am! And thank you! So glad you found me! :D

  4. I started running (for the first time ever) this season too! I like the 5K plan you've included. I may have to borrow that. ;) Congrats on your job, Jessie! What a perfect, arts-focused fit for you! -Ally Siwajian

    1. How neat!!! How are you liking running? I'm truly enjoying it, and that easy 5K plan definitely helps!

Also, thank you for the congrats on my job! I'm so excited to have an opportunity to do creative work! So far, it's been a blast! :)

    2. Running is pretty enjoyable now that I'm not huffing and puffing after the first minute! Haha! The first few weeks were brutal. ;) Now though I'm finding it's a great way to acquire more energy and clear my mind. It's definitely becoming a "place" of peace, which is so refreshing! -Ally Siwajian

Speak your mind.
