Okay,
so it's not 100% complete,
BUT I want to share!
Here We GO!!!!
BEFORE.
AFTER.
Sorry to lack in the photography skills...
but I think you get the idea!
The color is so rich and velvety.
I love it.
Things to finish the hallway:
- Paint doors white (I ran out!)
- Paint ceiling white? Or lighter shade of the teal?
- Change out light fixture
- Add more art!
- Add a runner rug to hide my paint spill... (oops)
So YAY (!!!) for taking a chance
with a bold color!
What about you?
Painted anything bold lately?
*Paint Color: Benjamin Moore
Bermuda Turquoise in eggshell
Jessie, I LOVE it! It looks so great contrasted with the white AND I think the hallway is a perfect place to go dark and dramatic. Small space, not one you necessarily have to live in. Just awesome.

P.S. I can't tell from the photo but am assuming that the ceiling is a few shades darker than the trim? if so, I think I'd go with what you suggested -- a few shades lighter than the teal.
ReplyDeleteYou're correct! The ceiling is darker. In fact, it's the same beige-peach as the walls in the before picture... thanks for the suggestion! I think it'll really pull the hallway together :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you like it! I was a tad nervous about the whole thing, but once the paint hit the walls, I knew it was going to turn out well!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how easily paint can change a space? It looks great and I'm in love with that color. Just so you know, you're my inspiration for my next home to go a little more on the bold side!
ReplyDeleteLove it! We are in need of your input here.
ReplyDeleteAll our best,
