FauxKiss & Our Office!

Several weeks ago,
I won my first blog giveaway!
(YAY!!!)

One of my favorite blogs,
hosted a beautiful art print giveaway
from the Etsy vendor FauxKiss...

I was so excited when I won,
because I chose a print to remind me
of our recent hike
when we heard several elk bugling!
Here it is (as shown on Etsy)

My goal is to fill our home with art
and mementos meaningful to us!
So, winning this print was a wonderful first step.
(Thanks again, Camille!)

I decided to hang it in our hall.
(You can see a peek of our
newly painted office here too!)

And now for an

Office Reveal!

We decided to paint our office
Benjamin Moore's
"Light Pewter"

Via
 and paint our trim
"Chantilly Lace" for contrast.

Ideally,
we'll build some shelves over the desks
to hold office supplies,
some art, etc.
as well as purchase some new office chairs.
(These are extras from our dining table!)

We found the curtains on sale
I've seen a lot of gray and yellow combos lately
and couldn't wait to try it myself!

 So yay!
We'll call this progress for now
since this room has a ways to go...
 How about you?
Worked on any late-night projects recently?
:D

  1. Love the black and white print against those gorgeous walls, and your office looks great too. How cool to have side-by-side desks. They yellow curtains look great with the grey paint too. You having been painting up a storm!

  3. @Camille - Thank you! I was excited to put the print up in the hallway :) I love how it contrasts with the teal!
And as for our office, we wanted to be able to work at the same time - yay for convenience! I'm a big fan of the mustard yellow color (as seen with our dining room rug) and try to find opportunities to work it in wherever possible! Glad you like!

@Ali - Thank you so much for all the love!!! You will totally dig having your own place! I'm sure it'll be amazing - given your mad skills with photography and design! Glad you like the picture too! :D
